My first amazing hospital experience in Canada. If it’s not an emergency, I will drive from Barrie to go here! The seniors working at the hospital are the sweetest. I literally just got a coffee at the Tims because the ladies were too sweet. All the nurses were friendly and compassionate, and the environment just makes you feel so much better even before you get to see the doctor. I don’t know if someone should love a hospital but Soldiers is the true epitome of how a hospital should feel.

I recently had my baby at Soldiers and had a great experience in labour and delivery. Dr.Rheault was fantastic with my c-section and following up with me after the surgery with what to expect and pain management. All my nurses during and after labor were amazing but I really felt taken care of by Sarah A. and was very impressed with her hospitality. I went home and recovered fairly well thanks to the information provided to me by all the staff. Thank you for taking care of myself and Theo! 😆

Hello Dr Smith I want to thank you so so very much your the greatest. Sir no one for years now could not help me to lower the sever pain day in day out. I’ve been in so much pain as you seen in my file there is to much damaged to my spinal cord and no surgery in this world would. I’ve had 5 back surgeries, hip replacement, and just under one year this is why I’m taken to hospital because my right leg gives out on me with no warning at all and it’s timber I’m face planted to the ground and my neighbor ran over to help me up. I walked into the house and I couldn’t see a thing out of my right eye, 3 eye surgeries later they saved my eye but only 40 percent back I’ll take that because I didn’t want to get glass eye. Dr Smith you see in my reports for years the pain I was in just gets worse and worse. You never gave up on trying to get me some relief just like 10 percent I’d pay anything to get that 10 percent. Dr Smith your the one and only doctor that got me that 10 percent less pain. You were so determined to get me that 10 percent and like I said you got me that 10 percent less pain. When I stood up and slowly placed my right leg on floor it was amazing to actually having less pain and walk a bit better you Dr Smith from bottom of my heart there’s not enough words to say thank you so very much sir. You are a true doctor that never gives up on your patience that you see every day they are there. The meds you had me on through IV is a amazing wonder drug with other meds you also had me on and never had them before. This combo of the new meds and the IV medication is what you gave me and also gave me 10 percent less pain that was like I won the lottery. Dr Smith my family and I want to say thank you thank you for never giving up on , sir you are amazing you have given me hope hope that 10 percent never moves lol lol. More and more each day I can actually smile now all because of you Dr Smith I thank you thank you so much giving me hope. I just wish there was more doctors like you in this world . Dr thank you have a fantastic weekend.

Amazing staff. So grateful to have this hospital in our community. Update 2024. The most amazing experience with the L&D and NICU teams for my wife and our son. The nurses, doctors, therapists and all other staff we met were so amazing. We love all of the nurses so much and appreciated them after a challenging labour, emergency c-section and a NICU baby. We felt so cared for. I have never experienced this in another hospital. We stayed for four days. In the unit, there’s a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, juice and snacks accessible and well stocked any time. The units are connected so it was very easy to go see our son. The food was also the best hospital food I’ve ever experienced. It was my wife’s first time admitted to a hospital and we couldn’t have asked for more.
