As a domestic student who has previously attended other colleges, St Clair College has a wonderful array of features, amenities, and opportunities available to it that many other institutions don't offer. The protection, security, and investigation program (PSI) has well-informed and kind professors who stress the importance of the career you'll be leading once graduating from the school. They realistically prepare you for what is expected in the field and physically train you. In terms of extracurriculars... it's really what you make of it. To me, collegiate esports is important. And it is HUGE here. They have an excellent venue, professional arena, and superb gaming lab for all students to use. Scholarship opportunities ($$$) and related program are pretty well managed and worth looking into, if you're a competitive/skilled gamer. Now... for the complaints. Some of the staff (and certain profs) can be rude and blunt, particularly in the finance and other service areas. This may make it difficult for those who have to deal with international ordeals. Furthermore, it is mildly bothersome when handling online ordeals via school email as some staff and/or profs will leave it unread or not respond at all. Frankly, your experience with the school will heavily depend on what program you're in due to these behavioral issues and student experience can be hit-or-miss, but for me overall: it's great.

Enjoying my first semester very much. Wonderful teachers and helpful staff. As someone who took a few years off before college, I was nervous to jump back into it. They've made it very easy and fun.

Campus is large and difficult to navigate at first. After two weeks however, I had no problems finding anything, including my room for each class. Paying was easy and quick as well as applying online. Most of my teachers are very nice and easy to understand, open to questions. Parking is a bit of a mess. There are so many students and often little parking especially if you want to park close to your building. I am speaking only from having attended the main campus, so I cannot speak to the other parts of the College. There are wonderful and free student services which include counselling and tutoring. The library is complete and easy to navigate. The staff is welcoming and friendly, always happy to give directions or lend a hand. I am pleased with St.Clair College and would highly recommend it to any students pursuing a post secondary education.

I attended St. Clair College from 1994-1996 for the Law & Security Program, which I don’t believe exists anymore. It was an awesome program, with fantastic professors. Really enjoyed it. Although it’s been 30 years, I remember my time there fondly.
