Wonderful place, green valley surrounded by red rocks and the Colorado River. The employees made the trip memorable, all very friendly, approachable and helpful. So quiet you could hear a pin drop. The best massage ever and have had them all over the world. Beautiful morning horseback ride, room had real cream and excellent coffee, rocking chairs on porch. Your every need had been carefully thought out. I might have liked more food options but everything was delicious. I would definitely go back again.

Spectacular ranch location on Colorado river with red rock buttes and canyons surrounding the property, and stunning views in every direction. The location is isolated – in a good way - 30 minute drive to Moab. But you have everything you need here: the food is excellent and there’s a general store JJ’s Mercantile, on the property with great breakfast and lunch, including daily baked bread for sandwiches. |The staff is amazing! Dining room was understaffed in the evenings. |Large comfortable room with kitchenette, comfortable beds and pillows, and a deep bathtub. |The ranch offers various guided hikes, horseback riding, and other excursions which we did not take part in, but seems that most guests do. |Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in exploring this beautiful area.

The setting is fantastic. Dining at the restaurant / bar was surprisingly really good. The view of the Milky Way each night was nothing short of amazing. Outdoor fire pits with smores, also a great touch. Shelley at the bar was perfect. Our cabin was perfectly nice and made for a great clamping experience.

I'm hesitant to write this review as I would prefer to keep Sorrel River Ranch my little secret! The accommodations are unparalleled as well as the views. The staff were all most competent, friendly and accommodating, in particular, Paola, Mickey, Sipho and Laura. The restaurant food was five star. My wife and I can't wait to return.
