Customer experiences
This was my first visit to Sonja Sproul Dentistry. I found all staff members courteous and kind. The dental assistant, who took my X-rays was gentle and explained each procedure as she went along. Dr. Sproul, was also very gentle and thorough in her examination. The person at the front desk was helpful in setting up return appointments and followed up with email reminders as well. I would highly recommend this office.
First off I want to say I was real sorry I for got to bring you your Birthday gift, I promise one next time Karlee. Also I will do a better job of getting there on time. As far as the gal I had she was fine. I still miss JACKIE.
I absolutely love this dental office! Dr. Sproul is kind, caring, and has a wonderfully gentle touch when doing any dental work. Every hygienist I’ve seen has done an excellent job with my cleanings — I always leave with a brighter smile and something new I’ve learned about my dental health. The front office staff is consistently friendly, organized, and helpful. From start to finish, it’s always an outstanding experience!
5-Stars for Jody the dental hygienist! 5-Stars for friendly front desk, assistants, cool vibe, women-owned & operated, and cleanliness. 5-Stars for Dr. Sproul; very warm, friendly, gentle, and kind. I wanted this to be my forever dentist! I loved the office and have never felt calmer and comfortable at a dentist before. My 3-star rating is based on the fact that I quickly depleted all my FSA funds with a gum cleaning, which I'm not entirely convinced I needed. Additionally, I was on my way to my appointment (and I was running late...but I genuinely thought I was on-time; human-error, my fault, and I had written the time down wrong), when I received a call from the office stating that I was 15 minutes late and it was no problem to reschedule. On their website, their cancellation policy is conveniently linked; however, their claim of full transparency isn't entirely accurate. The receptionist never mentioned that as a result of having to reschedule, I would be responsible for a $100 fee. The appointment I "missed" was also a free follow-up exam, so in the end, I ended up owing for an appointment that I wasn't able to attend. I would have been happy to have sit in the chair for my free 10 minutes if that's all it was, because it was a check-up, I would not have been concerned if only one quadrant of my mouth got checked due to time, but that wasn't an option. In the end, I chose to pay the fee, and my husband and I will find business elsewhere. I didn't like the fact that I didn't have options and that I wasn't told about the $100 fee the day of the "missed" appointment. *I am all for respecting the clinicians' time and other clients' time, and hold myself responsible for running late, and I also am not made of money. Be aware of their policy and understand that being 15 minutes late means you will need to be rescheduled and will incur a fee. Besides this one not-so-pleasant experience, the office and staff are fantastic, and if you choose them as your dentist, I'm sure you'll have a pleasant experience.
