In 2023/24 We collaborated with James Mansfield and his team at West Village GC as the Landscape Designers on an Interior Renovation project in Lower Manhattan on the West Side. A beautiful home made more beautiful by the stunning quality of work produced by WVGC. The efficiency and grace in which they conducted business on a daily basis was unparalleled and communications were always clear and tracked. As a subcontractor for this project however, what I held in the highest regard, was the humanity and kindness that we shared no matter what this project threw at us. If you are in need of GC services, without a doubt, WVGC is the best. And with the amount of time one spends with a GC for the life of a project, these are the people you want to spend that time with. The professionalism and communication was nothing like we've ever experienced with any other business. From the initial meeting, they described the process for planning and execution of the work, the communication process (which was a weekly video call), and educated us on local requirements and regulations. I hired them to complete a total renovation of my apartment after a building-wide flood and received my home better than it was before the water damage. Throughout the project the team had multiple touch points with us including a weekly video call to discuss progress & next steps and weekly summaries of work completed. They were thoughtful in sourcing materials and provided excellent recommendationss as we considered modifications throughout the space. The work was completed not only ahead of schedule, but also within budget, which was crucial given this was an insurance claim.
