The team was always prompt in responding to our questions, polite, and very supportive throughout the whole process. Renting can sometimes feel stressful, but Elwell Taylor made it simple and reassuring. Highly recommend!

Joanne G and Hannah C where absolutely fantastic through out our private residential rental in Chelmsford. Not only easy to communicate with they were a pleasure to talk to every time. The house we rented was exactly what was advertised and whenever we had any issues they resolved it very quickly and very promptly in a very professional manner. I have rented before with other agents who leave you to deal with the landlord directly but my experience with Elwell Taylor was nothing like this and I felt we were cared for by the agent throughout our rental experience. Pre-inspection reports were very accurate and detailed and check out was very smooth and straightforward with details and the opportunity to resolve any issues we caused. Deposit was secure and returned promptly when everything was made good. The house it self was decorated to a good standard and we were very pleased with the property which was very reasonably priced for the location. Overall a 5 star experience and would recommend Elwell Taylor to anyone who is looking to rent in Chelmsford. They are lucky to have Joanne and Hannah who genuinely care and strive to do the best they can.

I leased a commercial premises at 154 Epping High Street, CM16, through this agent's adverb. During the negotiations, the agent acted polite, prompt in communications, giving every impression of an honest broker. When eventually the lease was signed, the agent, as a whole practice, immediately changed it is attitude and acted as a 2nd hand car dealer, often became hard to reach anyone on phone, emails or any other means were left unresponsive. When visited in person their Chelmsford office, they did not even offered a sit down. When issues arose on the building, the agent become impossible to reach, deliberately avoided communication for over several months. Despite professional standings, agent's directors, Nick Taylor, acted as landlord's 'yes sir" aid, losing his ethical obligations, knowingly manipulated, distorted and deliberately prolonged the matters costing the tenant thousands of pounds. Very dishonest and cheap agent. We eventually surrendered the lease with a large sums of money paid. Keep away.

Brilliant service provided by the team at Elwell Taylor. Communication was very good and the agent (Sam) did a super job along the all transaction, he was very kind to allow us to do 3 viewings for the same property with a short notice, and he kept us updated regularly. Thank you!
