Customer experiences
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible team at the Endeavor Hospital Pediatric Laboratory. My daughter, has a significant phobia of needles, and we were dreading this appointment—but the staff truly performed a miracle. The Child Advocate, Christina, and the two nurses who assisted her did a phenomenal, highly compassionate job. While I only remember Christina’s name, I want the two nurses to know that everything you did for my daughter was greatly, greatly, appreciated! You made what could have been a deeply traumatic event as stress-free as possible. Maddie was genuinely amazed; she didn't even feel the blood being drawn! This level of care and skill is rare. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. What a phenomenal group of professionals. P.S. The toy room and setup they have for the little kids is mind-blowing—be sure to check out the photos I've uploaded! Once again, I will always choose this facility for any necessary lab work for my daughter (though I hope we don't need to return anytime soon!).
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the medical staff at this hospital for their professionalism, care, and kind attitude toward patients. I recently received treatment here, and I was very impressed with the quality of service. Special thanks to the doctors who explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and truly helped me recover. The nurses were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was quite good — everything was well organized. It’s rare to find such a combination of professionalism and genuine compassion. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your patients! I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality medical care and kind-hearted staff.
From the pre-op nurse calls to the escort to the car, my experience the day of my procedure was top-notch. The registration desk, nurses, technicians, doctors, etc. were all fantastic. I could not have asked for a better surgical experience. Everyone was kind, caring, and considerate. The day’s events ran like clockwork within a well oiled machine. I was home hours before I expected! My only criticism was how long I had to wait for my surgery date. There were about five weeks between scheduling and the actual procedure (and I took the first available appointment offered). I wish it could’ve been done sooner, especially because we are testing for cancerous cells. The anxiety this past month has been challenging and I am anxiously awaiting the results.
I had a very upsetting experience at Edward-Elmhurst Hospital (OB/GYN). I came for my 10-week pregnancy ultrasound with my 19-month-old son, who was standing quietly and not causing any problems. Instead of understanding, the receptionist immediately became rude and unprofessional, telling me that children are not allowed, even though I was never informed of such a policy. When I explained that I had no one to help me with my child, she became visibly irritated. I was already emotional and vulnerable as a pregnant woman and ended up crying. Thankfully, one kind nurse Linda comforted me, but the rest of the staff and manager Natalyia only made things worse. When my son cried, instead of patience, they suggested I reschedule and basically tried to send me home — even though I had waited two weeks for this appointment. My husband came to support me and talk to the receptionist that wasn’t kind from her, but the situation escalated with the manager calling security, which was humiliating. This is supposed to be an OB/GYN office — a place where women should feel supported, cared for, and respected during one of the most sensitive times of their lives. Instead, I felt stressed, disrespected, and completely unsupported. The manager later apologized, but the entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Pregnant women deserve compassion, not hostility.
