Queen City Hardscapes did an amazing job transforming our backyard. The owner Josh was professional and highly knowledgeable during our initial consultation, offering creative ideas while being realistic about the constraints of the space (natural shade, sloping, existing trees, etc). He was also receptive to our ideas while work was underway, incorporating several changes during the project. We felt he went above and beyond sourcing an exceptionally beautiful Japanese Maple, and checking in regularly to make sure we were satisfied with progress, aesthetic , timing, etc. When the job was complete, he stated that he is always available should anything crop up with the work, which signalled to us he truly stands behind the quality of his work and values customer loyalty. QC hardscapes helped me create the perfect backyard play area for my two children. They love to climb, balance and swing and Josh and his team built it all for me in a week! Josh was very professional when he came out and talked through the vision with me and was very prompt in getting the work scheduled and completed. We could not be more delighted in the job Josh and Queen City Hardscapes did for our formerly troublesome uninviting patio/back yard. Josh and Kayla were both very professional but also were a pleasure to work with . Our backyard is sloped and Josh not only solved our drainage problem but helped give us a whole new spacious ( outdoor) patio room as well. . Further , we feel like we made new friends in the process ( how many contractors can you say that about ?) The whole time he was working on the yard I felt like I had a real friend helping , a friend with a stake in seeing my vision come true . But if you use him make sure you ask Josh for his expert opinion for he is a true landscape artist . He can certainly add to any vision you already had. We will definitely be using them again for any other yard problems and/or endeavors. Note: They just finished last week so the grass isn’t back up yet and the flowers I intend to plant around the retaining wall aren’t there yet in the photos . But I can’t wait to see it in a year or two after all my patio plants mature .
