jaz minI had a terrible experience at Al Shifa Hospital ER on May 25, 2025, at 8:40 PM. I was 10 weeks pregnant and bleeding with severe cramps. I tried calling the ER multiple times before arriving but no one answered until I reached the parking lot. Upon arrival, the staff showed no urgency or empathy—even though I was clearly in distress and crying. A male nurse simply told me to go to the second floor on my own. I was made to wait despite my condition, and later dealt with an uncooperative nurse (Nikita), who acted very slowly and unprofessionally. Most shockingly, my personal sick leave document was sent to my uncle without my permission—a clear breach of patient privacy. This experience was both emotionally and physically damaging, and I do not recommend this hospital for emergency maternal care.

Lujaina AlraisiI had a disappointing experience during my kids’ four-day admission at this hospital. The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards—I received the room with a bad smell, and the desk was full of garbage. The nursing service was also poor. Whenever I rang the bell for assistance, it took them 2-4 minutes to respond, despite knowing that the room had two children in need of care. Additionally, the room was very small, and despite my request for a VIP room, there was no response or follow-up. Hygiene practices were also concerning. While checking my kids’ temperature through the ear, the staff did not change the protective cover unless I specifically requested it, which is unacceptable in a medical setting. Overall, my experience was frustrating and below expectations. I hope the hospital improves its cleanliness, responsiveness, and overall patient care standards.
