Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma - Kitchener

We ordered a family bite box (chicken) from Shelby’s and were shocked to find the chicken inside was undercooked. We called, went back, and they gave us a replacement along with complimentary drinks for the mistake. However, we clearly asked them to make sure the replacement was fully cooked. When we got home the second time, the chicken was still raw. Even more concerning, the shawarma spit in the store was visibly not cooked through, meaning other customers could also be served unsafe food. This suggests a serious lack of proper training and attention to health safety standards, which is especially concerning coming from a well-known restaurant. We hope Shelby’s addresses this issue immediately to ensure customer safety.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service. A huge shoutout to our server, Jyoti, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her recommendations were spot on, and she had the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. It's rare to find service like this — thank you, Jyoti, for making our visit so memorable! We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone we know.

The large shawarma bowl was awesome, huge serving, fresh ingredients. I couldn't finish this in one sitting or I would hurt myself. The girls at the counter and in the kitchen were friendly and professional. Good bang for buck here.
