Our stay at Severin was unforgetable. The camp is located in the middle of the bush, animals just come by, creating magical moments. Everything feels like respectful of nature, it’s like a little luxury paradise where nature is at the center. Severin Safari camp is an immersive experience I will cherish forever. The staff is so kind, smiling and careful. Deeply grateful for everyone, also to the german managers for their warm welcome and hospitality.
The camp is located in the middle of Tsavo West National Park and is completely open. A herd of impalas was wandering around the tents. It is impressive to see wild animals so close up. The tent was very nice, well appointed with large mosquito nets allowing us to observe nature from our bed. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the swimming pool and the rest of the camp. We arrived at nightfall and had to leave at dawn the next day. Dinner is à la carte, with several options, including vegetarian dishes, available for each course. Everything was delicious and the staff were attentive. Breakfast is a European buffet with several types of homemade bread, fruit, cereals and an assortment of jams, cheeses and cold meats. For the day, we were given a picnic box, which was a little disappointing in terms of taste and freshness. We would gladly return if we had the opportunity.
Severin Safari Camp is absolutely wonderful. Sitting in the restaurant we saw giraffe, wilder beast, elephant, warthog, zebra, baboon and so many more animals and birds. The camp itself is so relaxing, the pool is a lovely cool dip in the hot day and I’d highly recommend a massage. The food was unreal - both my husband and I are vegetarian and I’m coeliac which was completely catered for. The accommodation is so comfortable - we stayed in one of the huts with an outdoor shower, bliss! I would recommend a Masai walk, the detailed knowledge was so interesting. Thanks to the Masai walking us to our hut each night and especially when a big elephant was outside our hut! The highlight of all was our incredible guide Suleiman who we spent three days with adventuring around. His knowledge and respect of all animals big and small and birds kept us engaged for each safari. We had great fun with Suleiman and all the staff. This was such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend!
We stayed in one of the tents and they were amazing. Very clean and modern, amazing views with elephants walking past in the evening. The pool and gym were just fabulous and the main lodge with bar and restaurant very atmospheric. Cannot recommend highly enough, could not fault anything. Regret we only had 1 night
