SDV in their new location on Botsford street (they used to be on Mountain rd) is even better than before, in their new space. Owned and run by a fabulous, body positive fashionista, this store is full of awesome vintage finds. Pick up clothes, accessories and jewelry here for women and men through a wide range of vintage eras. Sizes go right up to plus sizes. Prices are very reasonable and the owner has been known to throw in little extras when you are buying a couple of pieces. The store is full of great body positive messaging, including “encouragement boards” in the change rooms, which I might add are very accessible given their size. This is also a LGBT safe space and no matter where you fall in the world this is a very welcoming and non judgemental environment that’s all about fabulous fashion and nothing else :) Moncton is lucky to have such a wonderful little treasure trove.

Loved my experience at SDV and only wish I could go more often to buy up all of the wonderful treasures. SDV gave me an amazing opportunity to be able to shop without feeling judged. Stephanie was extremely accommodating by helping me navigate each area of her store. Stephanie was the right amount friendly mixed with the right about of helpful. I also liked that I could shop without being pestered. She gave me space to shop but also helped whenever I needed. I love her shop because it is safe. Safe from judgment, safe from hypocrisy, safe from homophobia. LOVE SDV vintage. Their new location is wonderful. Not only does this downtown business have parking but accessible parking access if needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment or the owner Stephanie. Love it!

Amazing clothes, a wonderful woman in charge and good prices for vintage. It truly has a calming and welcoming atmosphere as you walk in, with art a bit everywhere along with quotes to celebrate your own beauty. The woman in charge is honestly so kind and will help you put outfits together. Sometimes, she’ll even give you a discount ;) But the clothes are fantastic and it supports local artists and makers. Great place!
