I was a bit hesitant to book here with some of the negative reviews but I personally really enjoyed my stay here! The location is fantastic for walking around downtown. Check in was fast and easy. They have self parking (big plus for me as I hate valet parking) conveniently below the hotel. The gate to get in and out of the parking was a little slow moving but overall it was extremely convenient and there was always space to park. You can access the hotel from the parking garage. The room was definitely older looking but nothing looked dirty or overly worn. You do get a little kitchenette area which was a nice surprise for me! There is also a nice little balcony area off the room. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom overall was very good except the shower head is a bit low - I am 5'11" (180cm) and it was a bit low for me so if you're really tall it may cause issues. As others have noted, there is no AC but if you open all the windows at night it really does cool down nicely. Others also noted that there was quite a bit of noise from surrounding rooms and the outside - this is also true but it wasn't super problematic for me. They were doing some construction out front during my stay so it looks like they are updating things! Lastly, the breakfast was always very well stocked. It was a bit of a tight squeeze and could get quite busy but there was always plenty of food to go around! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to it to others who want to stay in the heart of Victoria.

King suite with kitchenette on 7th floor had a gorgeous view of harbour including Empress Hotel. Room could use a little update but overall it was perfect for what we wanted. There is some construction at the waterfront that is ongoing until 2028 so some noise & view interruptions happen. But watching seaplanes, ferries & adorable little water taxis coming & going was a highlight. Only an outdoor pool; whirlpool was a little small & not too appealing but breakfast was always good & plentiful; staff were pleasant & helpful.

35 degree weather and no air conditioning just an old noisy fan. |At check in we asked for a room with 2 queen beds. Gal at the desk said there would be an upgrade charge because the original room had one bed. Well the upgraded room had a hole in the wall above the door, the curtains were ripped, the carpet was loose and the fridge hadn’t been defrosted in months. Couldn’t get an ice block in the freezer. Hotel has a great location but it is not worth the price. We could have probably stayed at the empress for the same cost. Breakfast was less than inspiring. So crowded we had to wait for a seat. Orange juice in hot glasses, microwaved styrofoam eggs and grey sausage patties two days in a row. On our second day the commercial toaster was gone and replaced by a slow 2 slice at a time model. |We have stayed at the best western plus on Kingsway in Vancouver and the difference is night and day. This place is old and dilapidated. Bring the bulldozer.

My wife and I decided to spend our 40th anniversary at the Best Western Inner Harbour Hotel this past week in Victoria, B.C. and our experience and stay did not disappoint. |Upon checking in we received a friendly welcome back and we were advised that we were receiving an upgrade to one of their nicest suites in the hotel.|My wife and I were very grateful for this gift and for their acknowledgement of us reaching this milestone. Thank you very much!|We have been visiting and staying at the B.W. Inner Harbour for several years because of the hotel's great location the friendly staff and the fact that most of the suites have great views. We really like that you can walk to most places of interest from the hotel and that the hotel's location feels very safe.|Breakfast is pretty decent with numerous breakfast choices and great coffee.|This hotel has an outdoor pool and a great indoor hot tub which we did not use on this particular trip as the weather was a bit cool for us.|Overall this was a spectacular visit to Victoria which was made very special thanks to all the friendly staff and management at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour hotel!
