Unfortunately very displeased with our visit, so much so we have vowed to not return to this facility. Me and my girlfriend came in as a young couple who had just found out a week ago we are expecting and only believed to be about 6 weeks pregnant. We came in because she was experiencing some spotting and we had some concerns and wanted to make sure everything was okay with her and our baby. Off the bat we had to wait for over an hour and a half and watch people who came in after us get rooms before us because supposedly they needed my girlfriend to have a pelvic bed? This wouldn’t be an issue except we waited the extra time just to end up with a normal bed so we are confused on why we were told one thing and given another. When we did finally get a room it was filthy enough that I took a video of mounds of excess hair, dirt, dust, and trash on the floor. The video also shows dried fluids on cabinetry’s surface that we have no idea what it was. As well as a very ridiculous amount of water leaking from the window sill in our room. The staff was very unprofessional in the way they handled her care. From laughing about the situation when she first arrived, then during labs that she had to be stuck three times between two people and the first nurse made us very uncomfortable with her appearance and demeanor appeared as though she was unsure of what she was doing after she stuck a needle in her hand and moved it both left and right inside of her hand at about a 45 degree angle. The ultrasound was the first one we have received at all due to this being very new. We had to ask if I could come due to the fact I was not originally invited. My girlfriend had to have a transvaginal ultrasound which is already a slightly uncomfortable experience for any woman, but the person who did the ultrasound sat there taking pictures from inside her in complete silence for over five minutes. All of this was done in the span of roughly an hour after being moved into the room and we were placed back in the room and left waiting for almost 2 hours with no interaction at all while the signs on the wall say labs should only take an hour and they were drawn before we went to ultrasound. My girlfriend had pressed for a nurse to come just so we could get an update on our situation. We understand that hospitals are busy environments but no patients care should appear to be less than another. When the nurse finally responded and asked what we needed we told her we just wanted an update. She proceeded to tell us that they had a code. That’s it. No sorry for the wait, things got crazy and someone will be there soon. Nothing. Just an attitude because we were asking. But the kicker was the doctor. Not the doctor that was listed on our wall due to the fact we were there long enough for a shift change being we arrived close to seven and didn’t leave until five minutes from midnight. The doctor finally came in and spoke for less than 2 minutes. And with no compassion or empathy looked my girlfriend in the eye and said we can’t do anything, get ahold of your obgyn because it looks like you’re miscarrying. Now one come to find out them basing this assumption off is hormone levels and pictures from the ultrasound. Her counts were roughly double the normal amount and we are five weeks pregnant. And both of us are carriers for the genetics to produce twins. I have come to understand that this facility has an obgyn available,so if they were worried about her miscarrying why were they not called. This whole situation was not handled with any sense of compassion. It was hard for us to make the decision that we did to go through with this pregnancy and this was not at all reaffirming or reassuring. And when we left this facility, we still did not have the answer to why she was spotting. Pls make sure no one else has this kind of experience

The personal care that I received was excellent. The nurses and Dr Ahmad along with her surgical team were the best. My biggest negative that needs addressing are the EYE MASKS that are given following eye surgery. They are filled with ice chips and truly have to be the most uncomfortable , less effective eye gear out there! They do not conform to the face; therefore the cold area sits on bridge of nose and doesn’t conform to the eye area. There are plastic pieces at the bottom that are hard and irritable. The headband may be fine when lying in bed but I was sent home with it. So sitting in a vehicle, bouncing along I simply held the mask in place the best I could. Just not a good start to recovery! Consider the reusable gel rounds or something similar. I’m sure these could be upgraded and should be without delay. I’m rarely a complainer but this honestly needs review. Thank you.

1 star because zero isn't an option. Brought my daughter in twice to the ER with serious symptoms. She was discharged with no tests ran for having constipation even though we told them she went twice the day before. It was 3am when we first got there. After being released she of course not only continued with her original symptoms but now has accumulated more and is running a fever, brought her back a couple hours later and they said it was a sinus infection and asked why were we there and was going to discharge us even though we just got back. The doctor and i debated for some time and i refused to leave without tests and told him it was complete unvalidated speculation and that I wanted them to find out why she was having all these serious symptoms including serious pain and cramping, vomiting, fever, and more, that it was not either of the 2 diagnoses that I now have to pay for due to their lack of wanting to do their job efficiently and find out what was going on. I'm disgusted. I've never had good service here but I had hoped it had changed over these last couple years. That is a resounding no, it has not. I had to debate with the doctor to get them to do tests and my fear was them releasing her and it being more serious like pancreas or appendix, and it was. Exactly that. Now I will be going somewhere else for the surgery

My recent surgery at Providence on July 3rd, was a success at first. The next day I had internal bleeding and low blood pressure. I was moved to the ICU for 3 days where I received the most wonderful care from the Dr.s. and nurses. I can't thank them enough for getting me and my family through a very difficult time. All my love and prayers for the wonderful staff at Providence. Thank you and God Bless you for the work you do. 🙏 ❤️😊
