Nansey was great and was able to board my Yorkie with very short notice. I appreciated meeting her beforehand and the drop off/pick up process was very smooth. Our dog returned to us very happy and healthy. We loved getting regular updates on how he was doing as we don’t board him very often and appreciated the amount of walks he was taken on. Would definitely use Nansey’s services again. Thank you for taking care of Indio, Nansey!
I was delighted to find out there was an in-home alternative to a boarding kennel for our beloved pup for the duration of our recent family vacation. Nancey took great care of him. She kept me updated via text and sent photos and videos regularly. It was a huge bonus that our dog's stay with Nancey overlapped with another dog's, and the two of them played happily all week long. I wouldn't hesitate in having Nancey care for our dog again. Thank you for your good loving care Nancey and for keeping me so regularly updated!
We had a great experience with Nansey providing walking services for our elderly dog, Cadence. She was even able to accommodate a meet and greet on fairly short notice; we appreciated that she took the time to understand the needs of our dog. We loved receiving the cute photos/videos as well. It was great having peace of mind and knowing our dog got the exercise she needed. I’m sure we will utilize her services again :)
I entrusted Nansey with my dog, for a three-day boarding stay, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend her services. 1. Misleading Boarding Location – The website advertises 3085 Departure Bay Road, but I was instructed to drop off and pick up my dog at a different location on Sixth Street. When I asked to see where my dog would actually be staying, I was denied. Any reputable pet boarder should be transparent about their facilities. 2. Lack of Updates – Over three days, I received only one photo of my dog sleeping on a couch. There were no pictures or videos of her on walks, playing, or engaging in normal activities, which raised concerns about how much attention she was actually receiving. 3. Unusual Behavior After Boarding – When I picked Aero up, she was not herself—lethargic and not her usual happy, affectionate self. While I understand that some pets experience separation anxiety, this reaction was very different from previous boarding experiences. When I inquired, instead of providing reassurance, I was met with defensiveness and irrelevant explanations. 4. Unprofessional Communication – When I raised my concerns, I was met with contradictions and gaslighting. I was even sent links to dog depression videos, implying that the issue was with my dog rather than acknowledging the clear change in her behavior post-boarding. My dog is a social, well-adjusted dog who has never had an issue with boarding before. My experience with other pet care providers has been transparent and reassuring, but this was the complete opposite. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to ask thorough questions and ensure they feel completely comfortable before leaving their pet in this person’s care.
