If you prefer to be treated with decency and professionalism, I suggest you look elsewhere. I’m not sure what was more demoralizing. Being spoken to with complete disrespect, condescension & combativeness by Mary-Anne Davies or being dismissed by Mark Rashotte, the Broker on Record. Mary-Anne had a listing that she agreed to show me. I put an offer on it conditional on home inspection. I paid $900 for a failed home inspection to find out that she was well aware of the tens of thousands of dollars in repairs needed. When we walked away, not having $ for repairs, she turned nasty. Our deposit was put in REGULAR MAIL. I got it 13 days later as it was Thanksgiving! The best was her saying that I don’t know how things work! I’m 53. I’ve bought & sold 6 homes. I certainly don’t need her inexperienced advice. Mark defended her. And claimed regular mail is standard. Is it? Or did Mary-Anne want the last laugh? Regardless, worst experience I’ve ever had with a brokerage!
