Our second time visiting Tails Farewell to say goodbye to our beloved guinea pig. They are professional, very responsive, and deeply empathetic toward those who have just lost their pets. The atmosphere is welcoming, zen, and modern, which helps you feel more at ease and able to grieve without feeling rushed. I highly recommend this place to fellow pet lovers.

Our beloved 14-year-old British Shorthair, Jolie, passed away on a snowy night. Before she left us, she made it clear via meow language that she didn't want fire. As devoted pet parents, we wanted to fulfill her final wish. We began searching for an aqua cremation (Aquamation) service, but to our surprise, it was not easy to find one in Markham or even the surrounding area since it is still relatively new. We were so grateful to come across Tails Farewell. Jing, the owner, was incredibly responsive, promptly answering all our inquiries by email. The entire process was seamless. We picked up our frozen cat from the animal hospital and brought her to Tails Farewell. The facility's location is very convenient, with plenty of parking space. It is situated in an industrial area near quartz and marble fabricators, likely due to the city's zoning requirements for proper wastewater discharge. The reception area was warm and peaceful. David assisted us in selecting a package and choosing from various urns. We scheduled a private farewell session a couple of days later. The memorial room was beautifully designed in a serene, Zen-inspired style that we absolutely loved. We brought Jolie her favorite toys, food, blankets, and man-made lavender. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult. Jolie had a rough start in life, she was abandoned before we adopted her at 5 years old. She was with us for 9 wonderful years, and we treated her as a cherished family member. Watching her go was heartbreaking, but we are thankful to Tails Farewell for providing a dignified and comforting farewell, helping guide her across the Rainbow Bridge to a place free of pain - the paradise for cats. A few days later, we received an email informing us that Jolie was out of the aquamation bath. We learned that it would take about two weeks for her bones to dry before they could be processed into ashes. Later in the month, they let us know the urn was ready for pickup. The box presentation was beautiful, and the hand-drawn portrait of Jolie was an additional personal touch. Thank you, Tails Farewell, for giving Jolie a peaceful and respectful goodbye.

The best goodbye. Can't thank the team at Tails Farewell enough for being so caring and compassionate during such a devastating time for my family. The private farewell service was so beautiful. The space is modern but very warm and calming and my cat looked so peaceful. It truly helped me work through my grief. I'm eternally grateful ❤

Tails Farewell is absolutely phenomenal! I was so blown away at how they set up a farewell area for your fur baby and say your last goodbye’s and take your time. They are so very sympathetic and such caring people! Highly recommended this beautiful place to cremate your fur babies. I lost Jax one of my boy Netherland dwarf bunnies on Saturday night of May , 10th ,2025 and googled this spot and gave them a try and I made the best decision ever! I’m so very grateful for Jing and her staff . Phenomenal place. Thank you so very much again 💓. Rest peacefully my baby boy Jax 🙏🏻🐰🕊️.
