The restaurant wasn’t busy on a Saturday morning and was able to get a seat pretty quick. There were only two other tables with us there. There was one lady who was at the host stand and also who served us throughout our stay. She was very attentive and welcoming. The banana pancakes were decent and served with real maple syrup. They had good banana slices and I liked the cinnamon. The mushroom omelette was really dry so the texture was tough. The potatoes and toast were also just okay.

Roses is fine. It was a close by pizza place that was open late at night so we gave it a try. The pizza itself was fine but it was extremely expensive and that doesn’t quite make sense to me. Two pizzas and the tip was like $55 CAD which seems a bit pricey to me. The pizzas were fine, but not worth the price. Had the price been more affordable I would give it a higher rating, but, I just struggle with recommending Roses considering the quality of pizza for the cost you have to pay.

I order food Togo. I did get there right when I ordered but I still waited over 30 mins to get my food. With barely any customers there I feel like the food should have came out quicker. 30 mins for breakfast food is a bit of a long time for simple dishes. The food was good I got regular pancakes which was nice and fluffy and was very delicious. My wife got scrambled eggs and sausage that came with toast and fruit. Everything was delicious I just feel like how simple the dishes were it should not take 30 minutes to make. Service was good I got a beer while I waited. Staff is kind and polite.
