Utilized Rocky CU for mortgage product. After trying to deal with a couple Big5 banks and getting really high rates this spring, listened to my father's advice to try a CU. Looked at website, 5-yr rate was more than fair plus you still have ability to pay down early. Already a plus. Call the phone and a person answered the phone. After explaining what I was looking for, she said the mortgage officer would call. Under an hour, she did and she told me about the profit share as well. Everything else was simple, we agreed on mortgage and the next item was closing day with the lawyer. Completed so easy, great rate and the staff is an easy email or phone call away. Highly recommend.

To those who are from out of town please do your homework before banking here. The experience was downgrading to say the least especially if you bring in a BANK DRAFT of a large amount every person passes the buck and in a selective wording We want to protect ourselves and you and into days day and age we need to make sure the check or bank draft is NOT FRAUDLENT. The lack of maturity to respect a customer is nonexistent and the inability to navigate on resolving an issue would not be found here it lacks the ability. To top it off you you have to clarify to get the interest gained only for a back charge to close your account of $50.00 for not reading the fine print with out any responsibility taken from the person who opened the account for not telling you the charges and protocol in opening an account. Lastly having to have mangers from another financial institutions call the manger only to validate that the draft is good if you want the run a round you will find it here. I wish you the best a better bank across and down the road
