I have been shopping at this store infrequently since 2008, when I moved to Cape Breton from Ontario. I purchase most of my electronics and supplies online, but when I am in Antigonish, I occasionally shop at Staples for items. I have always been happy with the service there. In the last year, on one occasion, I was just looking for a simple Cross ball point pen refill. I requested staff assistance because I could not locate them. The staff member was most helpful and I found what I was looking for. At the end of August, I took delivery of Brother P-Touch Model PD-D210 that I had purchased directly from Brother Canada online. Staples Canada did not have the white version available. I had received it that morning. I had only a brief look at the instructions and realized that it needed 6 AAA batteries, which would soon become expensive, but that an AC adapter was available that was stocked by Staples. I had an appointment in Antigonish that afternoon, so I decided to go there for the adapter. I found the adapter, and saw that they had Brother label tape as well, so I picked up a two-pack, not knowing that it was incompatible with my Brother model. When I got home and continued reading the instructions, I realized that my model required TZe label tape cartridges, not the M-type that I had picked up. Yesterday, I went back to Staples with the unopened box of M-type Brother cartridges, and my receipt. I approached a female staff member at the cash, and explained that I wanted to exchange the M-type label tape for TZe tape. She was most courteous and professional. I found some TZe tape. The staff member efficiently did a refund transaction, and then a new transaction for the two TZe cartridges that cost a bit more. I have been most pleased with the customer service I have received at Staples - Antigonish over the years, and the great selection of products that they carry. My only disappointment recently is that no Staples stores in Canada stock lithium AAA and AA batteries, which I prefer, despite the higher cost, so Walmart in Port Hawkesbury will be preferred store for them. My thanks to the lady who so politely and efficiently assisted me yesterday. There is no name on the receipt. Sale #: 00091 001 018 61724; next line: 0277 09/23/25 13:35. I am writing this review because of the superb customer service I received from Jacob in electronics. He is an exceptionally well spoken, knowledgeable, genuine, and kindhearted individual and employee - a true gem! I cannot thank him enough for assisting me in finding a new laptop for my grandmother during my stay in Antigonish. Wishing Jacob & all the staff at Staples happiness and success always - cheers!

Great place for office and school supplies, and services. Computer, phone and other electronic device accessories are sold here. The service is generally decent. This is also a FedEx shipping centre.
