Customer experiences
We tried this place during Coolinary Month. Loved the rustic yet classy atmosphere. Our waiter Brian was great. The "Country Gumbo" was rich and flavorful. The "Shrimp & Eggplant" was amazing! The "Chicken & Mirliton Rochambeau" was scrumptious! That chicken was down right sinful! The "Fish of the Day" was also very delicious. However the menu stated popcorn crawfish along with the ingredients but there were none. I was so enthralled with eating the dish I didn't bother complaining. So check your plates. Next I will. For dessert I have to say that I wasn't expecting much since I'm not a big fan of bread pudding. However, that was some of the best if not the best bread pudding I ever tasted! It's pricey but we totally recommend this place for your next date night or evening getaway.
My favorite restaurant in New Orleans! I visited Rebirth during the last night at New Orleans. I cannot think of a better way to finish this trip. This restaurant I think wrapped up the vibe, the culture and the food from New Orleans. A member of our family that has been living in NOLA since the 90’s highly recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We started with a cocktail. La Cura is tequila cocktail. You can taste a tequila that seems to be a cristalino. It is served in a Mexican look like glass with powder chile on the rin. I loved it. While we waited, we had some cornbread. It was delicious, but it did not prepare us for what was coming. We ordered a Filet Mignon Tartare and Carpaccio and Oyster with Angel Hair. They were part of a Happy Hour Menu at $15 each. The tartare flavors were amazing. Que quality of the meat along with herb and spices combined with the garlic bread gave it a 10 out of 10. And the Oysters with Angel Hair… 🤯🤯🫶🤩 It should be an entree. The oysters were fried. One of the largest I have seen in my life and on top of one of the best pastas I have had in my life. Creamy and al dente. Then we moved to the main entree which was the pork chops. This is by far the best pork I have tried so far. Tender and moist in every bite cooked to perfection. And finally we order from the Dessert menu the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which I have to say, is not the best I had in NOLA, but still super delicious. This spot will always live rent free in my mind! Hopefully I can come back soon.
Amazing. I will forever be dreaming about the pork belly. It is a MUST order if you go here. The staff was great and the food was so good. Loved it!
One of my favorite places! Went last Friday, it was amazing. I wouldn't order another espresso martini here though. It was the only thing we didn't love. The pork cheek appetizer was awesome. The fish of the day was wonderful. Our absolute favorite was the Elk Steak, even as take out(my husband worked late) and I was able to get a bite from him lol! Don't miss out on this place.
