I reached out to Emma when I signed up for my first half marathon. At this point I hadn’t trained consistently for anything in several years and was looking for someone to keep me accountable, to create a realistic and flexible training schedule around my changing work and travel schedule, and to integrate strength into my training plan. Emma did exactly that, and she helped me adjust the plan when work/life stress interfered with the original plan. It was great being able to ask her questions throughout the process as well, and she created a motivating training environment. I ran my half marathon goal time, and it was the fittest I have been in years. I would definitely recommend her coaching services!
I first reached out to Emma for physiotherapy when I wasn’t healing from Achilles pain. With her help and guidance I was able to go from not running to consistently running again. Emma then started coaching me for a full marathon with a goal finish time of 4 hours. Working with Emma for that training block was fantastic. She’s upbeat and positive, and she was able to accommodate my unique working schedule. I was able to be flexible but stay consistent. With her coaching, I became a faster runner and completed a sub 4 hour marathon time!! I also stayed injury free which was another big goal of mine. I really enjoy working with Emma, and I was so happy with my progress and results that I will continue to work with her for my next big goal!
Training with Emma was the best decision I could have made to improve my running! She is an excellent coach. After running for several years, I knew I needed some extra support to hone my technique and help me create a sustainable plan. With a big race coming up, I worked with Emma for about 4 months to prepare. Not only did I achieve a huge personal best in that race, but my confidence and love for running greatly increased. Emma has incredible knowledge and experience with running and I always felt like I was in professional hands. She took the time to get to know me and my goals, and she tailored a program that was sustainable, achievable, and flexible with my schedule/other activities. Her approach to running really shifted my perspective in a positive way, and I’m happy to say that I accomplished my goals while remaining injury-free. Running has truly brought me so much joy since training with Emma and I can't thank her enough! Working with her surpassed all my expectations. I hope to keep working with her this season, and will be doing running-specific physiotherapy with her as well. I would highly recommend Emma to any of my family or friends looking for a running coach!
I contacted Emma for her run coaching services at 10 months postpartum looking for a way to provide more structure and consistency to my run routine. Emma is everything I wanted in a coach. She is knowledgeable, kind, flexible, collaborative, and encouraging. With Emma’s support and encouragement, my goals evolved from simply being more consistent and finishing my planned race to setting a PB at the distance!
