Jasmine has an incredible talent when it comes to dogs! She understands their needs and communicates with them all but instantly. My husband and I had Jasmine come with us to meet our pup for the first time to do a temperament test and find out if he would be a good fit in our family. The personality traits she was able to pick up on with a 7 week old pup blows my mind! Louie is now almost 8 months old, and we are watching the things Jasmine mentioned during that temperament test play out in his personality. She helped us pick the BEST pup for us, and we are so happy to have her professional input!! Louie has gone through 1 week of training with her, and that is where his base obedience has come from. We are very pleased, and excited for him to go through his next week of training during his teenage phase just like Jasmine recommended. She's so knowledgeable, and I trust she's doing what's best for our pup individually, not just based on an "in general" stance.

Long review ahead, but if I could give Jasmine more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Short answer: I 100% recommend Redemption Dog Training if you want to help your dog become not only obedient, but truly free — and if you want to learn how to communicate with your dog. Our dog is the cutest thing on earth, but he is also a menace!! We tried training him ourselves since he was a puppy, but it never really clicked. He would either get distracted, not listen, or end up confused and frustrated. He had his good moments, and we were able to teach him some basic commands/tricks, but he would always “forget them” whenever we were around other dogs, people, or outside in general. We tried different methods too, but nothing seemed to stick. Since we first got him, I had thought about professional training. I contacted multiple companies and trainers, but none felt right. They either had mixed reviews, were super expensive (like “my wallet is crying” expensive), made it a hassle just to get in touch, or seemed like they would train the dog for you without showing you how to keep the progress going. I honestly felt so overwhelmed — I didn’t want to spend all this money only for him to fall back into old habits later. I didn’t know what to do until I found Redemption Dog Training. I reached out to Jasmine, and she got back to me right away! From the very start she was so nice and helpful. I explained what we needed and what we were looking for, and she gave us clear guidance. Every session, I swear I wanted to tear up just seeing the improvements in our boy. He went from not listening, tugging on the leash every walk, and running off, to being able to walk off-leash without us stressing out. She worked with both me and my husband, showing us how to effectively communicate with our dog. I was honestly worried that with only three sessions he’d be the same, but it’s incredible how much progress she helped him (and us) make. She was always pleasant, explained everything she did, shared so much useful dog knowledge, gave us flexibility with training tools, and made sure we understood the why behind it all. Our dog loved her, too. It was just an amazing experience all around. Needless to say, it was 100% worth it. Now we can go on walks or even just let him out to potty without stressing, chasing, or pulling on him to listen. He’s still a work in progress (just like any dog — training never fully ends), but it feels like we have a whole new dog. He has more freedom now, and we’ve built a stronger bond since we can actually communicate with him. Thank you, Jasmine, for working with us!
