Unprofessional & incompetent staff. I had an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed this morning, 1/24/25, after already having my scheduled appointment moved from 2pm today to 8am (huge difference btw) only to end up paying for a service I NEVER RECEIVED! Mind you I had to request time off work for this procedure considering i would be in a considerable amount of pain.. Long story short, they tried to quote me a $500 copay with insurance for this procedure & i was denied a payment plan. The head nurse with short hair had a very short temper & was really impatient with not only me but several other patients. When confronted, the head nurse then doubled down and said we could pay half today & half next week.. we agreed and continued on. I waited for the Oral Surgeon (Ms Lane) in the dentist chair for over 45+ minutes just for her to poke BOTH my arms 3+ times & claim She couldn’t find a vein. She claimed I was “severely dehydrated” and i would literally have to reschedule my appointment. She even at one point tried poking my feet.. now here i am leaving the dentist office $250+ deep with my arms bruised and no service done! I rescheduled my appointment for next Friday at 1pm at a DIFFERENT LOCATION!!! which is ACROSS TOWN! Then this locations front office lady calls me to inform me that the OS doesn’t do surgeries late in the afternoon.. and I HAD TO RESCHEDULE FOR 7am.. This did not fit into my schedule obviously because I chose 1pm for a reason.. when my dad called to complain & request a refund, the person on the phone had the audacity to say i had “issues” because they could not find my veins. I’m not sure what she was trying to insinuate but the behavior of the entire staff especially the head nurse and Oral surgeon is extremely unprofessional and ridiculously childish behavior. Please do not give your money to this place, the staff here are short tempered, impatient, heavy handed & rude!

I can’t say enough good things about Gentle Dental! My whole family (my husband, my son, and I) all go here, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming (especially with my little one!), always putting us at ease. The dentists are gentle, attentive, and take the time to explain everything, which has been especially helpful for my son. It's rare to find a clinic where the whole family feels comfortable, but Gentle Dental truly gets it right. We’re so grateful to have them, and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Gentle Dental is the best place. I've been a customer for 20yrs. Every dentist I've had are fabulous. Efficient, staff is friendly. Listens to every question and need. I tried Absolute Dental due to insurance plan. The dentist prescribed medicine that would have possibly killed me. Didn't bother to read allergies to medicine. . Will always stick with Gentle Dental

The experience my husband and i both had for our first visits at the Flamingo location was very impersonal at Gentle Dental. The X-rays were very archaic, the corner of my mouth was cut during the process. When I got to the cleaning portion of my exam the hygienist was rough with the polisher and also left my teeth and mouth gritty, never flossed my teeth at the end or offered floss, he only spent 8 minutes with me total, somehow I feel the insurance wouldn’t be all to happy with that value since it’s supposed to be preventative care. Neither of us will go back to this company.
