The owner was incredibly polite, a very nice man but you’re better off sleeping in your car. This place needs a serious renovation. One of the beds in my room had bed bugs, the fridge was dirty, freezer part missing a door. Toilet was loose.

This hotel has recently got new owners there horrible service not at all helpful or do they seem to want to help with anything I asked for a new keys this morning it took a while just to get anyone to come help me in the office now he seems as if he was mad I woke him so he tells me I can no longer rent again that is not right

The rooms are comfortable and most have been recently renovated. The owners are the epitome of "Southern Hospitality." Since the hotel is located in downtown Bastrop, it is a short walk to shops and restaurants. Each room has a refrigerator and a large screen TV. Perfect for longer stays.

Please do not book with and the toilet seat was broken. budget unless you are willing to be disappointed. The room was not clean. There was hair from other people around the sink and bathtub. The floors were not clean. Even though there was a zip-up sheet to keep out bed bugs, the sheet had mold ,as if it hadn't been washed and stains that looked like urine . It was a very disappointing experience. This was the worst experience I've ever had when traveling.
