Customer experiences
The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and appeared clean, aside from the occasional bar fly. The food itself was enjoyable, and I had no major complaints regarding taste or quality. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, which was served with a small cup of ketchup. Unfortunately, the portion provided was not sufficient, and I had to wait for additional ketchup from the waitress. In my view, condiments should be provided in adequate amounts to ensure guests can enjoy their meal without interruption. Considering both the presence of flies and the limited condiment portioning, my overall rating reflects these concerns.
The Raillery Public House provided us with excellent food and service. Last Saturday, we celebrated my grandson's sixteenth birthday with 11 family members and friends. We arrived early to set up favors and balloons, but were shown an area/table which had very high stools and would be difficult for some of our family to negotiate. We explained this to our server, Colin P., and staff, who very graciously changed our table arrangements with lower chairs and tables put together with no problems. We had a variety of appetizers (which included their famous large Bavarian pretzels and Steak & Cheese Rolls), entrees and drinks. Everything was served hot and cooked perfectly. Our server, Colin P. , was terrific! He anticipated our needs (drink refills, etc.) and provided us with excellent professional service which made our party even more pleasant and successful ! We highly recommend the Raillery Public House -
Great first impression from the hostess that seated us to the excellent service we got from our waiter. Restaurant was clean. Bar is divided off so it's more kid friendly. They do have booths that are somewhat private, they're pretty cool if you want a romantic meal or even a business meal. My daughter got the kids fish and chips. I got the big kids fish and chips. We both enjoyed our meals. Fish was cooked right with a nice batter. The fries weren't soggy and the coleslaw wasn't drenched in dressing. We had some kind of chocolate deliciousness for dessert! I'd definitely go back!
My wife and I stopped by the Raillery in Franklin, MA for lunch. We both loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was phenomenal, they removed used plates at the edge of the table quickly. The food was pretty good- but we ended up only doing appetizers instead of getting meals. One thing I really liked was the cauliflower poppers; great flavor and a little spicy kick at the end. The steak and cheese tacos were also awesome. The only thing I had that wasn’t that great was the prosciutto wrapped scallops- the prosciutto was sliced a bit thick and it overpowered the flavor of the scallops. Despite this minor thing, I would definitely like to return and do dinner here! Great pub.
