Decent selection. Still doesn't have all of the specialty items you might expect but it's a much better alternative to some of the other stores in the area if you're looking for specific cooking items. They often seem a little understaffed too.

I get my beef eye of the round here and today it was on sale for $4.19 lb. Great Price! I also get my Rockstar and Coffee syrups here. Great selection and they keep their prices very competitive!

I went to this store for the first time today after having friends recommend this place. I was pleasantly surprised here. It is a very clean, well organized store. It has some of the same things as Costco but has alot of different things that Costco doesn't carry. One of my favorites are coffee syrups and they also carry sugar free coffee syrups. They open really early , too.

Normally I don't have much care or reason to talk about this kind of thing especially in such depth and sincerity, but I have been genuinely excited about my maiden voyage into the new chef store here in the LC valley, well here's my first and probably last trip, After standing in line with 2 other couples for nearly a minute or so with no checkers in sight I gave a friendly whistle, meanwhile 30sec later the gentleman at the front of the line politely rang the desk bell 🛎. Immediately a girl comes walking quickly from the back and the only thing she said to them is "I know you're there we have cameras" not even a hi how are you, or sorry for the wait, or thank you for being patient, or even a hi... It took everything I have in me to not address her rudeness. Not to mention while all the employees are nowhere to be seen during my shopping experience along with maybe 10 other customers in the store (thank goodness I didn't need a hand with anything) there was so many areas that were filthy with dirt, debris, food crumbs, leaves, etc. My insite would be customer service training and either a daily janitorial service or at least put the invisible employees behind a broom. Make the dirt invisible not the employees. If you need a good manager just reply below with pay rate and benni's. Just in case you are wondering the employee was a woman with a partially shaved eyebrow and I think some face piercings, black hair... you'll know the one.
