We rented Hacienda Del Mar and it was hands down the BEST vacation home I've ever rented (and I most always rent vs. hotels) and we will 100% be returning. The home is immaculate, incredibly clean and well decorated, furniture/beds are beyond comfortable, linens are superior, toiletries are top of the line, the HVAC in the rooms was nice and cold, Pool was large enough for all 21 of us, and we had paddleboards and kayaks. And I can't say enough about the staff.. The Chef's made some of the best meals we've ever had (never had to leave the house for food), and the bartenders were MORE than happy to provide any cocktail we wanted (and were onsite from 9am-9pm). If we were ever out of alcohol, they made sure to replenish. Paco (house concierge) was more than accommodating to our every need, no matter how big or small. The communication from start to finish couldn't have been better, and the house is gated (also in the gated town of Puerto Aventuras) so safety was never a concern. We had private vehicle transport from the airport to the house (I'd recommend STP Caribe for all transport). I went through Villas of Distinction to book, and Mary Giles setup everything on the front end, and my group of (21) had nothing but incredible things to say! And we had zero issues with seaweed. BOOK THE HOUSE.

Absolutely Exceptional Stay at Hacienda Del Mar Everything about Hacienda Del Mar exceeded our expectations. The house itself was stunning—spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were comfortable, the family room was cozy and inviting, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the pool was a true highlight. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the incredible staff and host. We were treated to freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, with meals beautifully presented and a table thoughtfully set with drinks. Their hospitality made us feel pampered and at home. The location is also ideal—there’s a charming, quaint town within walking distance along the beach, which made for peaceful morning and evening strolls. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious escape.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Hacienda Del Mar with the Riviera Maya Hacienda Team. We rented out the entire Hacienda Del Mar villa for our 29-person large joint bach party and could not be happier with how everything went. It was like the best of both worlds between an airbnb + a 5 star hotel. From the helping to coordinate everything before the stay to being our point person throughout the stay, our concierge Laurie was top-notch and everything went so smoothly because of her! Thank you Laurie!! The staff, especially our bartenders/servers were so amazingly kind and provided the level of personalized service I would expect at a 5-star luxury hotel. The food was absolutely incredible and was a surprise highlight of our trip. Would recommend this to anyone and would love to come back in the future if we can make it happen! Thank you RMH!

My wife and I got married at Riviera Maya Haciendas (specifically Hacienda Del Mar) two weeks ago - it was an amazing experience and the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and provided many great locations for the wedding, from the lush garden to the architecturally interesting courtyard to the peaceful oceanside pool and patio. So many of our guests told us how much they loved it. The hacienda team (Laurie, Sandra, Liz, and more) was also great to work with. And the chef and services team also contributed to a wonderful stay. We’d love to return!
