60 days for a refund of premium!!! Used principle plenty of times in the past, always had them down in my good books.. Never had to claim with them so no comment there. However.. Most recently I sold the bike I had insured due to a lot of local bike thefts. I paid around £500 outright and had the policy about 8 days so still well within the 14 day cool off period. I was offered just under £350 back but after quite a complaint they upped there offer to around about £380. However, this is going to take (and is still taking) 60 days to process! I have never had anything like this anywhere else and will never use principle again. I feel for the people in the same position that genuinely need the premium back. Would happily pay the extra £20 - £30 with Bennetts just for the customer service alone. Massively disappointed with Principle.

Bought insurance through this company in June 24 at what I thought was a great price. Sold my campervan in December and upon cancelling, did I get a refund of the 6 months still on the policy? NO, they charged me an extra £28.45 to cancel the policy. If I had refused to pay it would have been passed onto a debt collection company. This company is like a modern day Robin Hood, robbing people. Think twice before you use them!!!

In my opinion, terrible. Someone who's name was James I spoke to, didn't seem to know much of what he does as a job. It was mainly about NCD transfer. I asked several times to let me finish but he kept interrupting me. I don't particularly like talking to people who lack common sense or a working brain cell. Asked to speak to a manager, and as usual, not one available. Like most companies, when they have your money, they don't particularly want to help anyway. Stay away from these idiots. Last time I will get anything from this company.
