Customer experiences
This company manages my condominiums. I have lived here less than a year and have had horrible contact with management. When I first moved, I had a work order that was not completed or filled for three months. In between that time, I called the office several times, sent emails, left messages that all went unanswered expect for my phone calls to the front desk. When the property manager did contact me back, there had been no progress on my work order that no one had touched. In the middle of this fiasco, month two, the property manager left and was replaced by another one. I began the process all over again of calling, emailing, leaving voice messages. When I do get a call back, they offer the solution of someone coming within 30 minutes of the phone call, very inconvenient timing for me. I shared that with them and was advised that someone would contact me to schedule a better time. No one ever called. When I reached out multiple times again, someone finally came. Through all of this, I was told I would have some HOA fees waived for the inconvenience. However, when I reached out to the new property manager, I was met with a rude curt response. I had another issue within my unit that I needed them to reach out to my insurance company. Again the extreme delayed response with my insurance being unable to reach them and I again had to email and call multiple times. Now here I am again, needing something from the property manager, I go to email her, and it gets kicked back saying she is no longer with PMI. I have not received any notification of property managers changing yet again. So now, this is three property managers, all under a year. Please when purchasing a condo, or thinking of renting, make sure PMI is not the parent organization. This experience with them has been horrible.
I sold my condo on June 30, 2025. Pointe Services and their management company, PMI Meridian deducted the 3rd Qtr dues from my bank account before the end of the 2nd Qtr on June 25, 2025. I discovered this on June 30 and immediately emailed the address on the PSA website. I heard nothing. I emailed two more times in July, again with no response. After I finally reaching Brittaney Richardson and Heidi Jennings from PMI Meridian, I was told that I would have a check mailed to me. After several more weeks and not receiving the check, I complained again. I was told that the check was mailed on August 15. I finally received the check on August 27, 2025. It did not have any postage on the envelope. It went to Illinois and eventually came to me. I don't understand why PSA and PMI Meridian can deduct dues before the due date. I don't understand why the published email address for questions regarding payments is not monitored. I don't understand why I couldn't receive my refund electronically like it was deducted. I don't understand why an envelope would go out in the mail without a stamp. The person that mailed it was not a PSA or PMI Meridian employee - it was a volunteer for Pointe Services, Diane Nead. Apparently several other envelopes were sent without postage. Totally inept customer service! To sum my experiences - Terrible communication from both Pointe Services and PMI Meridian. No checks or balances in place to guarantee good customer service. Avoid these companies if you can.

PMI manages our HOA board. In speaking with our board members to find out why an architecture request was taking so long (city permits came back faster), it appears that PMI's communication, both software platform and human interaction, is very subpar. My project was approved almost immediately but PMI has taken 2-3+ weeks to send an approval email to me as a resident. One of the primary reasons they get paid management fees is to effectively communicate, which unfortunately they appear to fail at. *Edit* - they had the time to respond to this review, but still didn't send the approval email prior to typing their reply to this. The epitome of a one star.
