PMI IS VERY PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. As a 20 year owner I should be able to speak to a knowledgeable, kind, and customer service oriented person when I call. Yet every time I call there is never anyone to answer the phone. Most of the time voicemail hangs up on me so that I can't leave a message. If I do leave a message no one ever calls back. If I have a complaint they blow me off until I call approximately 3 or more times. Then they are upset because I'm so angry. They are full of excuses especially when it comes to mowing. They refuse to have the mowing company that I pay for, cut ALL OF THE GRASS NEXT TO MY UNIT. THE WEEDS ARE NOW 5 FEET HIGH. It is so ridiculous that this company, that I pay every month TO MANAGE our HOA is totally worthless (Ted). I can do everything they're suppose to do and complete it quickly. In fact I do! I weed, pick up braches, trim the tree branches, pick up trash and water my area of the yard. I pay to have all of this done for me, but instead I do everything so it doesn’t look trashy. Chris does nothing. In fact his dad's company, along with his brother built these moldy, moisture ridden, rotting townhomes. Because I took the incentive to advocate for myself, my Unit was the only one repaired. Lucky me.

Our board works closely with Hannah Heckman, a relationship that has made us successful. She answers our questions clearly and is willing to investigate situations that come up. She is very experienced in property management. We are very, very lucky to have her as out Property Manager.

HOA Board of Directors, you'll want consider PMI Central Iowa. After several years with many changes of management companies, PMI was a real life saver. Their online system, maintenance request management, and support for the board is exceptional. Vendor access is good while allowing us to stay with our trusted vendors or shop rates. Being a volunteer for these boards can be time consuming and unappreciated...PMI has made it so much easier. Hannah keeps in regular contact and is great support. We are so happy to have found them for our Townhome managers.

IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD TO SPEAK TO SOMOME HERE ON THE PHONE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I reached out and left a voicemail to PMI detailing very well what I needed help with and requested a call back. (SIMPLE Account Recovery/Password reset) To my surprise I did not receive a call back I got an email from a Representative named Lorna. It seems as if Lorna didn’t give much attention to what the voicemail had said and responded with something very different to what I needed help with. I replied to the email requesting a call back politely. Still no call back but another email from Lorna. She asked what I needed help with I told her and she still did not understand or do anything like calling to help. Left another call and voicemail…there was no response. Finally the way I reached someone was claiming to be a tenant with a mechanical issue. Does it need to be this hard to speak to someone if we are using PMI for property management? A formal complaint will be filed with the board. It should not take a week to reset a password with you guys or to get someone on the phone.
