The most quiet and intimate bar, student friendly too which brought back memories of when I was student in such a vibrant town. Bristol has lots to offer but if you're looking for an inexpensive and quiet bar for the introverted like myself this it! Felt very at ease and the bar lady was incredibly kind, keep it up and I shall be returning again next time no doubt!

Vince and the entire Playground team were fantastic - so friendly, the organising process and set up on the day were easy, the drinks delicious - such a a lovely, relaxing space ...the organising team sneakily returned later that day for drinks and board games. A very special day! Thank you all! If you'll have us, we will be returning.
Angel BennyI tried their chai latte, it was cold and way too sweet. I took a few sips, but couldn’t drink any more. The flavour was also lacking. One of the selling points are that their seats are swings. Unfortunately, I found these to be uncomfortable, too high, and too far away from the table. The staff were disinterested and impolite. Looking at the replies left on other reviews, I was a little nervous to be honest about my experience. I’ll end on a positive note by saying that the branding is lovely and the overall idea is unique.
