My experience at the Middletown location has been amazing. I’ve been coming here for over a year and even choose to travel past my closest Plato’s Closet because it simply doesn’t compare to this one. Thank you for keeping the store clean, well stocked, and staffed with such friendly and delightful employees.

I had a great experience both selling and buying at this location! I have been to a few locations throughout the state and this one is impressive! Staff is super sweet and professional. Keep in mind when selling that they are selective to what is currently trending and in season. I think a lot of people tend to get disappointed when they don’t purchase their items, but there is often a good reason. Remember it’s a business and they are not obligated to purchase your undesired items. They are frequently updating their social media letting sellers know what is in demand. :-) As for their inventory, it has some great finds in a variety of sizes and styles. I got a pair of new with tags pants and a comfy aerie sweatshirt. I’ll definitely be frequenting this location since I just moved to the area!

UPDATE: after reading thru these reviews I feel the need to mention that, unfairly to the owners, this store has such a low rati g because of people that are upset their items weren't purchased. The store has the right to refuse your items!! Don't give them a poor rating out of spite because you're feelings got hurt. They don't have to purchase your items. I went here to shop and the store is fantastic. I tend to look at reviews before going to any establishment so if I had seen the reviews I probably wouldn't have gone in, but I'm very glad I did! Please take what I have said into consideration if you are coming here to shop and see my honest review below: This is by far the best "thrift" store I've been to and I say "thrift" because this is not like any other 2nd hand store you've been to. The level of organization far exceeds any clothing store I have seen - - everything is organized by color, size and style. It's truly a sight to see! You can tell the brother & sister that own the store really care about their business, it definitely shows!!! Everything is clean and in great condition with a lot of items still having tags. I picked up a super cute dress that is giving off major Beth Dutton vibes (šŸ˜), leggings and beautiful satin dress pants all for under $35! I will definitely be a regular at this store. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out, I assure you that you will not be disappointed!

The people who choose the items are very inconsistent. Sometimes you will get a person who buys majority, sometimes you will get a person that buys nothing. That is what I do not like about this place. Every worker should be on the same page and be consistent. While I have had multiple frustrating experiences here, I am writing this review based on my last experience as it has definitely been the most frustrating. My fiancĆ© and I came in with 2 bags each. It was filled with the items they claimed they were looking for, plus name brand items such as North face, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, etc and none were taken besides two that were not name brand at all. They claimed many of my items were worn and stained, which could’ve been true about some but DEFINITELY not all. There was no reason why the majority of our items shouldn’t have been taken. Sometimes this place can be such a joke and some workers are fair and some are not. Keep it consistent! Edit: I went back to see if someone else could take a look at my items, and they ended up taking 9 things. Again I’ll say that everyone needs to be on the same page as to what gets taken and what doesn’t. It wastes the time of the customers to go with bags of things just for nothing or 2 things to be taken. I was overall content when I came back and the girls there took what I believed should have been taken in the first place.
