I would like to summarise my physiotherapy experience at One Step Ahead Mobility as superlative competence and efficiency mixed with compassion, professionalism and friendliness. I selected the company for my LSVT BIG physiotherapy program as it is featured on the Parkinson’s Canada website. I needed help to manage my gait and motor symptoms associated with my Parkinson’s disease. The LSVT BIG program I have been following for several weeks is coming to an end. I am extremely satisfied with the results as I have tremendously improved my balance, gait, arm swing, and fine motor skills. I owe this improvement to therapist Aviva who has extensive experience in treating individuals with movement disorders. She tailored the LSVT BIG program to my specific challenges and worked with me with great dedication to help me achieve my objectives. One Step Ahead Mobility is also a friendly place; most therapists call me by my name; they make me feel at home. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service and overall condition of the clinic. The therapist saw me all of 15 min and the rest of the appointment was handled by a technician. Moreover, the doors were not shut for privacy which made me extremely uncomfortable. The therapist did not explain the course of treatment and I was pushed to book more appointments.
