It has taken me quite some time to decide to share this review because of the many “glowing” reviews about Phoenix Legal. However, I feel it’s important to provide an honest account of my experience so others can make informed decisions. My family and I trusted Phoenix Legal with my mother’s immigration case about three years ago, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The communication throughout the process was poor and inconsistent. There were long delays in responses, and at several points, we were left in the dark about the progress of the case. What made the situation even more frustrating was how carelessly the documents were handled. A critical error occurred when they submitted outdated bank statements to IRCC after months of holding them, without requesting updated versions. This avoidable mistake led to a refusal. When the decision finally came in, it took nearly two weeks and several follow-ups on my part before the firm even located our file and sent us the outcome. What was most disheartening was the lack of accountability or empathy from the team and Mr. Souraya. There was no apology or acknowledgment of how their inaction and lack of diligence affected our family. It felt as though once payment was made, genuine concern for the client’s case and emotional well-being faded into the background. In my view, legal representation especially in immigration should be guided not only by professionalism but also by compassion and urgency. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Phoenix Legal.

I want to share my experience from the bottom of my heart. I struggled with my immigration case for almost 10 years, facing so much stress and anxiety that it affected my daily life. I spent a lot of time and money with previous lawyers, but nothing worked until I found Mr. Souraya. He completely changed my situation.
