petsecure is the worst company ever! They increased the monthly payment after 1 year and when i called to cancel what a drama! I called and the customer service guy told me I have to write an email to cancel, he can't cancel by phone call that's already weird. And when i was trying to talk, the guy kept talking over me to ask me to stay, that was very rude. Then I sent an email, no reply, I called back 2 days later they guy told me I need to put my pet's name and my name and reason to cancel, I did, no reply again. Then I called back again after 1 week the guy told me i need to include policy number, why you didn't tell me everything the first time i called? I guess they want to extend as long as possible so they can charge you 1 more month. Also the guy told me every time i should receive an automatic reply email which i never received. After it's finally canceled they charged 1 extra month so at the end I got charged 2 extra months since the first time i contacted them to cancel. It's just a company to make money of pet's owners, very disgusting

$300 max a year for my dogs dental is ludicrous. My vets estimated cost was 5k for a root canal(ludicrous as well), 300$ doesnt make a dent in that. Anytime you move they increase the price of your monthly cost as well, citing higher premiums in that area... I moved less than a Km away... I bet if i changed my address back to where i was living they would charge me more again. Not worth the money, think hard before signing up with this company.

I called at end of November 2024 to cancel my.membership I figured that was that but no they tried to bill me December 4th & 15th AFTER I had already cancelled my membership then I got an email that confirmed feb 4th my membership was cancelled and after that an email that stated I owed them 130 and something odd cents. It didn't make sense as I shouldn't of not only been billed for a December membership but twice in one month?, I called the collection agency I emailed pet secure gave them the proof it's like people here don't know how to do their job apparently they put you on a que to have your membership cancelled which doesn't make sense and they continue billing you until they eventually get to you. I went with them because their online adds promoted no exam fees medication covered and when it came time for me to file they explained; it's only for emergencies. Hence why i explained to the gentleman on the phone at the end of November 2024 why i wanted my membership cancelled i have filed a report with the BBB beware of this company go with your vet i pay the same amount petsecure was charging me and I only have to pay a small exam fee & they don't hide anything from me they're honest.

Worst insurance because they DO NOT COVER DENTAL on cats. As cats age they often have dental issues so of course they avoid that by covering a whopping $400 total over your pet’s life. They also raised monthly premiums over $20/month in 2024 alone. Think hard before you choose Pet Secure.
