The incredible staff at Petland Polo Park makes this store one of the best stores, if not the absolute best pet store I have ever been too. Their passion and love for animals show through by the care they give to these animals on a daily basis. Over the multiple visits I have been there, never once have I observed a dirty cage or unhealthy looking animal. Plus, they continue care even after the animals have gone to their forever homes. The staff doesn't have high change over, so you get to see the same smiling and super knowledgeable faces all the time. And knowledgeable they truly are! I'm so happy to have found such an incredible place to take my pets for nail trims, food and all of their other needs. The staff do not try to push sales either. They work off what your pets needs are and what meets your budget. They all deserve a raise! Thank you Petland for employing such gifted people and providing an experience with each visit! Below is a picture of my guinea pigs receiving their first nail trim and totally content in their experience. Just further speaking to the staffs expert relaxing environment for the animals.

Anastasia was an amazing staff member who helped us out through and through from educating us what type of natural snacks to give our dog, super helpful when it came to finding my dog a harness. And we forgot our purchase at the counter and she graciously waved us down at the parking lot before we left and gave our things! Give her some recognition for us!

The store is so clean and tidy. It's a bit confusing in its placement of products but the shelves are well stocked and organized, everything is perfectly visible, the lighting is bright and it's not overly crowded. Overall, it's a very nice store to shop in. The only less-than-positive experience was with the cashier. We were talking while she was checking me out and she literally just full stop started ignoring me mid convo so that she could look at this shedded snakeskin that her colleague (who interrupted us while she was cashing me out) brought up to the front. They both just tuned me out after that until she handed me the receipt. I was like the least she could've done was show the snakeskin to me!

I got my incredibly intelligent, sweet, and creative rescue bunny Hestia from their display in 2022 and all the staff were absolutely amazing with their rescue animals. The love they had for my amazing fluffy goddess won me over to how amazing this store and their staff are. I hope everyone there who helped take care of her is doing very well. When I next visit Winnipeg I hope to stop in again!
