As a shop dealing with this insurance company, it went well. Even though there were a few bumps along the road, the insurance claim representatives then ended up resolving the issue acted quickly and promptly. Shouts out to Brent, Caroline and Italo for getting everything put through and payment being secured on our end. I appreciate the hard work, and would certainly work with them again as a vendor.

Absolutely Terrible Company — Total Scam, Avoid at All Costs I rarely write reviews, but my experience with People’s Choice Warranty was so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. This company is nothing short of a nightmare. They promise “peace of mind” and “comprehensive coverage,” but what you actually get is endless runaround. When my car broke down, I called them expecting help — after all, that’s what I paid for. Instead, they kept me on hold for over an hour, transferred me multiple times, and then denied my claim because the car was already fixed. Lies!!! The car is still at the repair shop and nothing has been done on it yet FOR TWO WEEKS. It’s obvious they make their money by denying legitimate claims and exhausting customers into giving up. Bottom line: Do not waste your money. This company is deceptive, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. If you need a real warranty, look elsewhere. People’s Choice Warranty will take your money and leave you stranded.

Edited to confirm I have received payment for my claim. ***** Have been a PCW client for over 5 years. Have purchased their Platinum plan, the highest, most expensive option available, just in case. I have luckily not needed to use them until earlier this year. The first red flag should have been our garage of choice not accepting to bill direct to PCW - they would do so with other companies - they said they waited 30+ days to be paid back by PCW and that is, understandably, too long for a small business. We obtained approval for the claim right away, paid for the repair out of pocket, submitted the claim and obtained confirmation from the claim adjuster that the claim was ok and it had moved to Finance for payment. We submitted the claim in July and in mid-September we are still trying to obtain an update as to when reimbursement will be made. The call-centre isn't able to provide any information, nor is the adjuster, I keep getting told. They have a long line of claims they need to go through apparently. As if we're in business together and I should understand their predicament. The only group that could provide the needed information is the Finance department, where no emails are responded. Asking for an escalation in the call center gets nothing also - apparently the supervisor has early afternoons and nobody oversees the activity of their call centre agents past 4PM. I could go on with additional issues but if you've read this far, do yourself a favour and don't use PCW. The rumours in the media regarding their impeding bankruptcy are likely true.
