Penfold Electric

I found these guys off Google and gave them a shot. I had an old fuse panel that needed to to be replaced. First off, the office guy who I dealt with on the phone had great customer service and was super easy to deal with. The electrician who came out solved a couple basic issues for free that I wasn't able to troubleshoot myself and found the dead fuse. A week and a bit later they had coordinated with Oshawa power and came in to complete the job. Super nice guys, very thorough job. Labelled all the relays for me. Price was reasonable. I don't know anything about this trade but I know that these guys are very trustworthy. Would definitely recommend. Pics of the before and after.

Stop your search for an Electrical Contractor now! Their motto, "Expect Tenfold From Penfold" fits. Brian, Colton, and Johnathan are top-notch. I hired Penfold to install a new panel and a generator, Brian and Colton did the install on both. Notice I said Brian, the owner, was also here. How refreshing is it to see the owner also doing the work, and not at the office sending sub-contractors out. Brian and Colton work as a team, and from the quote, to the start of the job, to the finish, one could tell they are a hard working pair who know their stuff. Brian and his crew have set the bar high, their work is clean, they show up on time, they are professional, easy to speak with, took care of dealing with Elexicon Energy, and answer any questions along the way. And they actually answer the phone when you call, no phone tree, no press this or press that, no artificial intelligence, you get an actual person on the other end of the phone. Had an EV charger installed by Penfold and couldn’t be happier. The electrician, Colten, was professional, on time, and walked me through a bunch of options based on my setup and future plans. Sure, I could’ve gone with someone cheaper on Marketplace, but none of them talked about permits or doing the job properly to code. Penfold handled all of that, which gives a lot more peace of mind when you’re dealing with high voltage and panel loads. Highly recommend.
