Customer experiences
Such a wonderful experience from the first call through follow up from the appointment! The office is designed in such a fun way with a van to explore in the waiting room, friendly staff, wonderful technicians and a warm, knowledgeable doctor. For a kiddo who has been through a few dentist appointments and our first timer, they both had a great experience thanks to the team at Pediatric Dental. Thank you!
Conveniently located and easy to schedule; appreciated the anticipatory guidance from the team re: best practices for dental hygiene. They were efficient yet flexible during the appointment. Looking forward to centering our kiddo's dental care with the team at Pediatric Dental Associates!
Our kids love PDA and ask when their next appointment is scheduled! Thank you for your excellent service, welcoming staff and friendly environment. We love Dr. Elise and Dr. David!
I had been taking my 3 children in to PDA. I would say prices were fair, we were self pay and they did do small discounts for self pay patients. The overall care was fine. The staff and dentists were pleasant towards all my children. My youngest daughter who is 4, had a tooth that was fused together. They watched that tooth and at her appointment in April, it was apparent it needed to be removed because it had a cavity and the tooth had broken. This was causing pain for my daughter. They explained to me they have to get a certain amount of patients to schedule for anesthesiologist to come in. So it took two months before they could get my daughter on the schedule for her extraction. I had my appointment confirmed multiple times that week of the extraction, and the morning before I had my appointment confirmed as well. The evening before the scheduled extraction, I got a message around 8 pm. Another patient had cancelled last minute and we either had to move my daughter’s appt to a later time or had to cancel the appointment all together. We live 90 miles from PDA. Having the earliest appointment possible was important me and I was unable to move the appointment later. They explained to me that my daughters appointment was so fast and such a small appointment that it didn’t make sense for them to come in and do it because of that. So basically, even though I was a self paying patient, the money wasn’t enough for them to keep their appointment they had scheduled. My daughters fractured tooth was not a big concern or urgent for them to get it out because it no longer fit their schedule. I would be pushed off until they had more patients to fill the schedule. I found it incredibly unprofessional canceling so late in the evening. There was no respect for my daughters needs and no respect for me either. My daughters appt wouldn’t make them enough money for them to have a gap in between patients. Most places charge fees if your late or cancel your appt if your late. I didn’t appreciate my time being disrespected. And I waited two months to get the appt. The dentist did reach out and send an apology but at that point I wasn’t interested in bringing my daughter or any of my kids back anymore. I ended up getting an appt with Deschutes Pediatric Dentistry and they did their exam and extracted my daughters tooth in less then 3 weeks since the cancelled appt from PDA. I was thankful I found another pediatric dentist that had some urgency in regards to my daughters care that she needed.
