I booked their visit as a surprise for my dad’s 60th birthday before their cruise from Southampton, and your thoughtful upgrade truly meant the world to us. My parents said the village was beautiful, the hotel was stunning, and the food was exceptional. They’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but told me—without hesitation—that this was the best experience they have ever had. Amazing pub! I enjoyed my weekend away here. Food was amazing, so delicious sea-bass I have never tried. We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was included to our stay, and was really very nice. You can choose so many different types of breakfast that were unbelievable. Room was not too bad, but I wish it would be bigger. Next to pub there's little town and river and lots of fills for walking. Cocktails are really nice, pornstar martini made my evening) Pub atmosphere and fire place makes everything so cozy and relaxing. Absolutely recommend this place. Would love to come back once again for a dinner;))

We had Sunday lunch there last weekend, it truly was the best pub roast meal I've ever had. I chose the pork which was delicious with perfectly done crispy crackling. Really good vegetables, proper gravy, hot plates, and attentive friendly staff. Many thanks it was a real treat.

What a brilliant find! Gorgeous food and large portions too! Great staff, super friendly. Large amount of drinks on offer too. 100% I would recommend.
