My recent experiences with mobile RV techs had ranged from mediocre to nearly lethal, the last one having forgotten to tighten a propane fitting, which led to a fire that could have been catastrophic. So I was calling around in search of quality, getting mostly voice messages. Then Robin with Patriot answered on the first ring. And, she answered my questions politely and professionally, leaving me assured that Eli the tech could handle not only the problem I was having with my hydraulic jacks, but most any other situation I might encounter as well! I scheduled to have Eli come at 10:00 this morning. At 9:50 AM he called for our gate code. By 10:15 he had found the loose electrical ground wire that I and others had missed, and had my Lippert leveling system working perfectly again! He could just as easily have convinced me that I needed a $1000 motor replacement, but a few minutes of talking to Eli is all that’s required to know that is not who he is. He is pleasant, honest, competent, professional—the best mobile RV mechanic I’ve had in my 30 years of RV adventures.
