One of my favorite locations in Maryland to go hiking. There is a lot of diversity in this park, there are fields of grass, there are swampy areas to see, there is a rocky/sandy area, a long dock to walk down and be on the water. The trails are long and entertaining throughout their entirety. Beautiful place to take some photos, see some wildlife in action, and see some history as well. Would definitely recommend visiting the first trail ( next to the toll at the beginning) just pull into the parking lot

Very nice trail walk, but make sure you have cash as the payment to get in is cash only. For an 8km walk you get to see a really nice boardwalk and has a small museum as well.

My family and I came to this beach on saturday for the first time and we all loved it! Beach seemed smaller than I thought but it was not packed at all surprisingly for a saturday. The beach was very shallow and had no waves which made it super friendly for my 7 and 4 year old. I didn't see any restrooms but they did have a few porta potties. I hate using a porta potty or public restrooms in general, but these porta potties were super clean and well maintained they did not stink! We were so surprised! There are also picnic tables avaliable with lots of trees we still brought a canopy to use for more shade. They have grills available too! I loved how the picnic tables were not a far walk to the beach at all ❤️

Okay, if you want a gorgeous sunset you’ve gotta go here. A nice pier walk and some trails around the water. But the sunset - that’s pretty awesome. For a minute, it’s like being on a tropical beach somewhere. Only Mother Nature’s magic. Parking, kid n pet friendly, can fish, safe and a nice mix of ethnicities. With windsurfers flying 40 feet into the air. Love it!! Maryland..
