Emily RossGot first time filler with Naomi in March, 1ml. She was super friendly and listened to my preferences. However, after the suggested healing time of 2-3weeks, I messaged as my bottom lip was uneven. Naomi advised me to come see her (which I was happy with) and said that it was uneven where I had flinched but that I could massage it out over time myself. I felt as I went away and thought about it that this was strange advice as everyone always says not to massage your filler, because your practitioner places it where it needs to go and by massaging it you move it around. But, 3 months later sadly my bottom lip is still very uneven. I went elsewhere to get it levelled it out- where the practisers are all medically trained nurses- they fully explained the risks of filler (such as risk of going blind, how they avoid arteries and risk if arteries were filled, risk of strokes and risks of mixing different products etc, which was a shock to me because non of which had been explained at my previous appointment), and on examining my lips it was clear the bottom lip has been filled too far in (it the inside of my lip not the lip itself) which was causing the unevenness. They confirmed clients should NOT massage their own filler. Upon getting this second 0.5 elsewhere, they also found that there were sections of my lips which had not been filled at all, adding to the unevenness. Sadly I can’t leave much of a positive review, Naomi was super friendly and appeared helpful looking at my concerns but the advise, information and actual filler just weren’t at a good standard.
