If giving lass then 1 start was an option I definitely would. Went in for a rear wheel bearing noise. Came out with a that wheel 🛞 drenched in gear oil. When I called to tell her about it… just no care in the world. Just asked to get it towed in on my dime. On that there quote is 2X more that everyone else!! These place is just out to take advantage of people. New to the area and VERY disappointed. I DO NOT recommend that place to anyone.

The shop’s sloppy work caused a significant headache for my 92-year-old father. My father visited Palm Coast Auto Repair for general maintenance, to address a persistent engine light, and to investigate an unidentified noise from his car. The services performed included replacing the alternator and belt, changing the motor oil, and checking the fluids, which totaled $770. However, the engine light remained on, prompting my father to return to Palm Coast Auto Repair. During this visit, he received a work estimate of $1,126 for the removal and replacement of the oxygen sensor. The next day, my dad discovered that the car would not start, resulting in a mobile service call and a $436.37 repair bill to replace the car battery, which evidently was drained. Ironically, Palm Coast Auto Repair placed a nice little sticker on the dead battery advertising their shop. 10/25/2025 - About the comment about a water pump repair, your shop is mixing up jobs, because my dad's car didn't go in for one. As to the question of why this review is being posted now, rather than four months ago. Well, as I wrote in my review, my dad is 92. I live 1,000 miles away, and I am visiting my folks in Florida. (My sister lives closer by.) My dad is sharp as a tack, but unfortunately not computer-savvy. Believe me, I got an earful about his experience at your shop as soon as I got here.

I have gone to have my car serviced at Palm Coast Auto for over 20 years. They are excellent! Quick, skilled mechanics and courteous. If something is needed other than a normal service then they come tell me and get approval before doing it. I respect their honesty. It’s refreshing in today’s world. I would recommend them to everyone.

I have MaxCare warranty, and since they’re a certified RepairPal shop that works with CarMax, the whole process was smooth and stress-free. From the estimate to dealing with the warranty and completing the repairs, everything was handled professionally. Their pricing is also super competitive—I recently took my car back for another warranty repair, and their estimate was half of what the first shop quoted me. Safe to say, I’ll be bringing my car here for any future repairs, warranty or not! Also, they have a shop cat named ‘Cat’, and he’s the best - just wanted to throw that out there! 🐈‍⬛🙂
