North Oxford Mini Dealership Garage I have got a 2017 Mini clubman with very low mileage for its age as my wife only uses within Oxford city centre. This car has always been serviced and MOT at North Oxford Mini Dealership Garage. The car is immaculate condition nothing was ever wrong with it. The Mini service team collected the car for MOT and service from my home at Summertown on Friday 1st November 2024. Then I get a phone call from Mini service department telling me that we tried to adjust your diver's side headlight free of charge but now it's broken and you need to pay £1,200 otherwise it will not pass the MOT. I absolutely knew that this is damage was happened at Mini garage so I asked them to bring the car back. Then I opened the bonnet I saw that they have played with headlight as they stick a piece of paper between the car body and the headlight screw as a washer, so unprofessional. I phoned the after sales manager and explained the situation and after being so persistent I eventually managed to book an appoint with him so I can show him the damaged headlight. He basically told me that it's your problem and not my responsibility. So I asked him if he can check the workshop's CCTV or listen to the recorded phone conversations. He told there is no cameras at the workstations and there is nothing we can help you with and do want you want as we did a great job. If you are taking your car for MOT or service at this garage please take lots of pictures your car so you have got some evidence, even though they may still refuse it.

I enquired about an electric mini at this dealership, I wanted a battery health check, which will become mandatory from 2026. However as it would cost them £35 to do this, even though it's a very easy check to make. They then proceeded to tell me they'll only do this if I can prove that I'm able to go ahead with the purchase of the car, essentially locking me in to going ahead with the purchase if they get this battery health test done. When I said they'll be required to do it by 2026 the dealer responded in a snarky voice telling me yes, but they don't need to do that until then. I would avoid these guys.
