I recently had a chance to experience the "Light at night kayaking" on the Rideau Canal, it turned out to be one of the most memorable ways to see Ottawa. The atmosphere on the water after sunset was magical. The kayak was stable, easy to handle. Safety briefings and guides added to the comfort level. The pace was relaxed, giving plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and just soak in the unique atmosphere. It was a great experience, I'd highly recommend it.

We booked a group of 7 ladies for a bachelorette and it was the perfect adventure for all skill levels! We were greeted by our tour hosts and went over the safety & rules of the paddle before they helped us 1 by 1 get set up in the water (making sure everyone felt comfortable). We were each in our own kyaks but did cross paths with another group that had 2 guests per kyak-you have options:) The actual tour was informative, fun and kept our group together! Not to mention the sunset views were post-card worthy. The rideau canal appeared clean & well maintained by the town making it hard to bring the tour to a close. I would have stayed longer if i could have!!!! The cherry on top was hands down the light up of the kyaks under the bridge where they really glowed best! Scott and Ethan were the perfect host duo and I highly reccomend requesting them as i will be if we make it back! The firework festival would be next on my list to see from the water through the experience of Ottawa Valley Air Paddle. Just wanted to give our girl Maria (OVAP) admin a shout out for helping us stay organized, on time and legal! The waver was easy to read & sign digitally. Maria can answer all of your questions. Thank-you OVAP team for making a memorial experience for all of us we will be talking about our adventure for years to come 🫶🏻

We absolutely love the Beach LT Sport Oru Kayaks we bought a few weeks ago. We can now put them together or fold them up in just 10 minutes! We found them as good or better on the water as any other kayaks we have used in the past. They glide through the water smoothly and are easy to keep on track. We strongly recommend them!

I recently took part in OVAPs Light at Night Kayak tour with my daughter. It was her her first time on a kayak and the entire evening was great. From our two guides making sure everyone was comfortable, the pace of the tour and getting to see the city from a different angle. 10 out 10 if recommend it.
