For the Love of Dog Training

In the winter, I really struggle with how dark it is both early in the evening and still in the morning. After taking the dogs out, I’d often crawl right back into bed. Last year, I dealt with some seasonal depression, so this year I wanted to be proactive. I found a 6 a.m. yoga class twice a week, and it’s been a game changer. It gives me something to look forward to, gets me moving, and fits perfectly into my routine I’m back home by 7:30, load up the dogs, and start our morning walks. I highly recommend checking it out; I’ve really been enjoying it.

Such an amazing experience! To be honest I'm someone who is reserved. It's hard for me to relax. This experience was wonderful, I was able to stop thinking and enjoy being in the moment. Allowing yourself to let go of the stress with every inhale and exhale. After the class I was asked how I felt? I replied " I feel light and relaxed. Unstuck if that makes senses" Definitely will be going back.

I have been to numerous yoga centers in 3 different states OYC has, not only the best prices, but is also enthusiastically extraneous in the practice they provide. As a chiropractor, I look forward to practicing with Leslie as she incorporates myofascial healing modalities in conjunction with yoga poses and challenging motions to encourage more body communication to take you and your life to a whole new level. I have also had the pleasure of working Elysse, also as an instructor but also for massage, her ability to tune into your body and what it needs is uncanny! Despite it being one of Jack's first time's teaching yoga, he did an outstanding job bringing everyone back to the basics of it all, which I honestly felt a bit lost at practice sessions prior but he helped to solidify my vinyasa foundation academically. Whenever possible, I actually send my patients to Leslie rather than physical therapy, because I know their healing with magnify that much more. I, personally, have never felt stronger and more connected to my body with any other yogi or yoga studio than I have at OYC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Leslie is SO good at what she does! All of the instructors here are kind and helpful. They make yoga accessible to anyone. Love it here!
