After living here for almost 6 years and always paying my rent early, I lost my job and had to move out a couple of months early because my new job is out of State. I left the unit in excellent condition (other than a couple of minor things) and they had another tenant in the unit in less than a month. After being an excellent tenant for almost 6 years, they rewarded me by keeping my deposit and charging me $800.00 for a "redecorating remediation fee". If you are looking for a rental, I would recommend staying away from anything associated with North Lakes Property Management as they only care about your money... Looks like I received a scripted auto-response from "the owner" These people have my cell phone number...if they really cared to speak to me...they would call. They haven't!...joke!

Fairway Woods in Winona, MN. Best couple years of my life so far! Staff is exceptional. Rent is easy to maintain. Maintenance could do more but I don't blame him cause they're fourty or so year old buildings. They work with what they got. You can't expect luxury when your rent is 569+ and pet friendly. Sure the place may look like a run down super 8 but I absolutely dig that kind of nostaliga. I grew up here as a child ages 1-9...coming back was the best choice I ever made. Thanks North Lakes!

We were dealing with an emergency in our apartment building & my rental office manager was unavailable. We reached out to a different rental office manager that had helped us with some things before & that person was also unavailable. So I figured I'd see if the main office could help. Nope. No one answered & there is no voicemail box to leave a message. The only person that was able to answer the phone, but not really help, was the emergency maintenance person. This has not been the first issue I've had in the last 4 years, just the first one I felt the need to post about.
