Good gym with a solid range of equipment for both weight training and cardio. The place is clean and well maintained, and there’s plenty of space to work out without feeling cramped. Staff are approachable and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. It’s been my safe haven during my stay in Duncan and a place I’ve always felt comfortable training in. Great option if you’re looking to stay active in town.

Nice variety of machines and free weights. Overall a very practical gym, so it may not be good for people who want a big city gym with a juice bar and yoga classes. However, it will certainly do the job if you need a place to lift or run. Main reason for the 5 stars are for the guys who run the front end. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They always make me feel welcome and they have given me excellent guidance in my fitness journey.

The staff here are always friendly and helpful, and the gym itself has great equipment. That said, the sanitation process could really use improvement. The cleaning system relies on a few rags and spray bottles that are shared by everyone and only replaced once staff get to them, which feels unsanitary. The morning cleaning routine can also be disruptive, vacuuming is done right beside members while they are mid-set which can be a safety risk, and mop water has splashed onto personal items like gym bags if you keep it with you. A little more attention to timing and member safety during cleaning would make the environment much more welcoming and hygienic.

I moved from the Mainland two years ago, where I used to pay $28/month—half of what I’m currently paying at Olympic. Despite the higher cost, the facilities here feel more cramped, with limited washroom space that often smells bad when someone uses it. That said, the people and management are friendly and respectful, which I really appreciate. Given that this town is growing and Olympic is the only gym open 24/7, I think it’s time for the management to consider expanding the facility. I wouldn’t mind paying more if the amenities actually matched the price and demand.
